Assistant Accountant

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform month end closing for a standalone entity including preparation of management reports
  • Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations based on stipulated timeline
  • Preparation of journals and to assist accountants & finance manager in timely closing of month end/year end accounts
  • Liaise with operations in preparation of operating expense accruals and other related schedules
  • Preparation of monthly management reports and schedules
  • Conduct balance sheet review and highlight risks to Finance Manager / Senior Accountant
  • Assist in supporting Finance Manager in external audit request
  • Prepare full set of accounts for one stand-alone small entity including the analysis of the financial results, GST reporting and corporate tax filing
  • Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time
  • Participate in annual stocktake

    Qualifications / Professional Certifications / Skills Required

    • Minimum degree or professional qualifications in Accounting/Finance with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role

    Assistant Manager, Finance

     Key Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership and mentor staff through coaching and training
    • Responsible for credit control and ensure Accounts Receivable balances are consistently monitored and followed up closely.
    • Handle operation queries for Accounts Receivable related matters
    • Responsible for timely monthly closing of Accounts Receivable and Vehicle Stock book.

    • Required to communicate and engage professionally with China customers based in Singapore
